Here’s a beloved verse that is uplifting and enduring. “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” That means we will see Jesus again when we recognize him as our Savior. We are blessed when we look to Jesus and invite him into our lives.
Betrayal looms – This inspirational verse comes from the story in Matthew, where Jesus is teaching in the temple. The people there are getting ready for Passover and excited about it. But Jesus knows that he is going to be betrayed and killed. So he tells the people they will not see him again until they say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”
What does this mean for us? First, we will see Jesus again when we recognize him as our Savior. We are blessed when we look to Jesus and invite him into our lives. So take comfort in this verse today, knowing that Jesus is coming back soon!
Jesus knew that he was not the accepted Savior. That failure of humankind had to hurt but was unavoidable. Without that rejection, it’s doubtful that Christianity would have reached incredible heights of popularity.
Dear Jesus, we love you and are so excited for your return. Please help us stay focused on you and be ready for your arrival. Amen.
Jesus lives on, and his Message still spreads. That’s a testament to the wisdom of his teachings. When you feel betrayed, look at the big picture. Sure, it’s painful, but something much more significant might be on the horizon. Sometimes seemingly unfortunate events are the impetus to make essential changes.
Today’s an excellent day to invite Jesus into your life! But, it helps to have a solid foundation if things get you down. So start with prayer and watch fantastic things happen. The words of Matthew 23:39 are powerful and inspiring.
